Melodrama I woke up at quarter to 11 and ate a late breakfast. But that's not what this entry is about.

LJ came to my house around 6:30 yesterday. Who's LJ?, you ask. LJ was the girl who held a party last March 24. It was her birthday, so there. As I was saying. LJ dropped by. I was surprised. Okay, "surprised" is not quite what I felt. More like shocked. Hmm...

Well, I hopped into her car and she began pouring out her frustrations and her stress and...

It was melodramatic. The whole episode.

And I thought I left melodrama during high school. Dang.

Back to LJ. She was confused and stressed out by her feelings and emotions towards Cy. (See Noelle's or Doc Megumi's blog for more info on Cy). I told her to first and foremost relax. Breathe. Deeply.

There.

Of course the whole experience started a thread of thoughts...

Fool Real life beats reel life any day, hands down. Which makes me wonder, why in heaven's name do we watch soap operas on television?

I mean, you might as well watch other people live their lives. Hmm. Voyeurism.

As I was saying...

I've been blessed (blessed? more like cursed) with an interesting life. I've lived through Y2K, EDSA and EDSA 2, an earthquake, 5 bombings, and high school. And the Internet revolution.

High school Yes, high school. When things got really interesting.

Let me see... there were love triangles, suicidal classmates, slapping scenes (soap opera style), and cliques. I really don't want to get into the details, prefering to be vague and general. But that was high school for me.

Of course, I was the unofficial computer nerd during high school. Until, annoyingly, a guy named Joseph Dayo arrived. I'll write about that one of these days.

Overall, it was interesting. To say the least.

Life, oh life... Yes, life is interesting. Very interesting. Supremely interesting. Oh hell, it's even bled into the Net.

I'm just a fool for it all. I can never say I didn't enjoy the ride. There were ups, downs and everything in between. Even if I wanted to quit, there was always something to make life more interesting.
